Order information: the proposed corporate name, business activity, distinctive element, alternate spellings, filing province, and purpose you provide for a search.
Contact information: your name, email address, and phone number where provided, along with any messages you send us through the Support page.
Payment information: card payments are handled by Stripe. We receive confirmation of payment and limited details such as the payment status, but we do not receive or store your full card number.
Technical information: standard server logs such as IP address and browser information, used to operate and secure the website.
How we use information
We use your information to process and confirm orders, prepare and deliver your NUANS® report or preliminary search result, respond to support requests, maintain order records, and meet legal, accounting, and fraud-prevention obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
Data retention
We keep order and contact records for as long as needed to provide the service, support you after an order, and satisfy legal, tax, and accounting requirements, after which they are deleted or anonymized.
Security
We use technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, including encryption in transit and access controls, and we rely on established providers such as Stripe for payment processing.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to limit access to it.
